With this attitude, we need to honestly and prayerfully evaluate criticism to determine if we need to make corrections.  Then, having done so, we release that criticism to Lord and move forward.  Enjoy this quick lesson on biblical leadership.

So far this year we have been exploring the character of a godly leader, looking at behaviors and attributes of men and women serving in Christ’s Kingdom.  We began with Integrity, Diligence and Faithfulness; today I want to add Humility to this list

 

We will learn how vital it is for a leader to be an encourager. Looking at Barnabas in the Bible we see his name meant: “Son of Encouragement.”  Listen and be encouraged to be an encourager.

 

This podcast is about the character of a leader. We began with three positive attributes: integrity, diligence and faithfulness.  Today I want to offer a different perspective by looking at three attitudes and behaviors that Godly leaders must avoid.

Upon the foundation of obedience to God, I would suggest that the cornerstone, the chief building block of character.  There are many areas in the life of a leader that God's Word lines out clearly for us to follow.

Encouraging the Village Church Planter in Africa; another important teaching from Romans 15:1-2.This is the 3rd and final position of leadership. A leader who comes behind a follower to pick them up when they have fallen.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27   Jesus makes a distinction between “hearing” and “listening”.

John 15:4-8. “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; ..."      Our purpose is to not just produce fruit, but much fruit. Please listen and learn how important it is to abide in Christ.
