Today’s podcast describes the power of your story of God’s work in your life.  Your story is real and it is true and it belongs to you.  Your story is powerful.

There are many ways to find persons of peace.  You can share a word of blessing and hope in Jesus’ name and see how people respond.  You can tell a Bible story and see if those who listen want to know more. You can pray for people and see how they respond to God’s answer to your prayer. 

A good way to find persons of peace is to share your testimony, your story of how God has worked in your life.

Today’s podcast is all about using a relationship map as we get to know people in a new church planting location.

Why do we start with a relationship map?  Relationship maps encourage us.  They show us people we are connected to with whom we can share the Gospel.  Relationship maps challenge us.  They help us see how many people we know that need Jesus. Relationship maps serve as a prayer tool. We can and should pray for each person named on the map, trusting God to open up opportunities for them to hear, understand and believe the Good News.

But perhaps the most powerful aspect of a relationship map is that it shows us the big picture of our relationships and the details, all at the same time. When we look at a relationship map, we can see at a glance both the many connections we have to people who are far from God and, at the same time, we can see each person’s name and the connections we have with each one.

What happens if we tell everyone that we are going to make disciples of Jesus and plant churches, but no one responds when we preach? What happens if we go to start a church in a new place, but no one listens to us?

Today’s podcast is about Z thinking.  Z Thinking is beginning with the end in mind, an essential skill for those who start churches.

As a village church planter, what is the destination you want to get to?  How can you get there without taking wrong turns? The best way to get to your destination is to begin with the end in mind. The end you are working for is that Gospel of the Kingdom of God will be preached to all nations.  The end you are trying to get to is that the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  As a village church planter, that should be your goal as well. How will you progress toward that goal?

Think about it, you get to join the King of the Universe to bring his blessing and love to the world.  But how?  How do you make disciples?  How to you help lost and hurting people experience the love of Christ?  How do you help them obey Jesus as King?  For the last 2,000 years, Christians have answered these questions in a variety of ways. And why?

Multiply is a podcast to encourage village church planters in Africa ,Asia, South America and anywhere there are church planters. We don't want to limit this to only church planters but anyone who is actively discipling others for Jesus.
